1.1 Services Provided
Mascotte Movers provides a variety of moving services, including local moving, long-distance moving, residential moving, commercial moving, and moving and storage solutions. Our team is responsible for packing, transporting, and unpacking goods, as well as providing storage facilities if requested.
1.2 Eligibility
By using our services, you affirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. If you are booking on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind the organization.
2.1 Booking Process
All services must be booked in advance through our website, by phone, or through email. A booking is considered confirmed when a deposit is paid (if applicable) and we send you an acknowledgment of your booking.
2.2 Payment
Full payment for services is due upon completion of the moving services unless otherwise agreed. We accept various forms of payment, including credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers. For long-distance moves or other significant services, we may require a deposit upfront.
2.3 Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your move, please notify us at least 48 hours before your scheduled service. Cancellations or changes made within 48 hours of the scheduled date may be subject to a cancellation fee.
2.4 Refunds
Refunds for deposits or payments will be processed according to our refund policy. If services are canceled with adequate notice, a full refund may be issued. Refunds are generally not provided for services already rendered.
3.1 Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when booking your move, including the address, details about the items to be moved, any special requirements, and any other relevant information. Failure to provide accurate information may result in delays or additional charges.
3.2 Preparation of Items
You are responsible for preparing your items for the move. This includes packing your belongings securely and ensuring that fragile or valuable items are properly protected. Mascotte Movers will not be responsible for damage to improperly packed or unsecured items.
3.3 Access and Parking
It is your responsibility to ensure that our team has access to the property and adequate parking space at both your current and new location. Any additional charges for parking permits, access issues, or other logistical issues will be your responsibility.
3.4 Prohibited Items
You are prohibited from packing or transporting hazardous, illegal, or perishable items. This includes but is not limited to chemicals, firearms, plants, and food. Mascotte Movers reserves the right to refuse to transport any such items.
4.1 Damage to Property
While we take every precaution to protect your belongings during the move, Mascotte Movers is not liable for damage to items that were improperly packed or secured. We strongly recommend that you purchase additional insurance for high-value items if desired.
4.2 Limitation of Liability
Our liability for any claim arising from the moving or storage services will be limited to the actual cash value of the damaged or lost items, and will not exceed the total amount paid for the moving services. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
4.3 Insurance Options
Mascotte Movers offers limited liability coverage included in the price of your service. For higher protection, we recommend purchasing additional moving insurance. Please contact us for details on the available insurance options.
5.1 Storage Terms
If you opt for storage services, we will provide you with a storage unit to store your belongings. You are responsible for paying the storage fees as per our agreement. Storage charges are based on the size of the unit and the duration of storage.
5.2 Access to Storage
You may access your stored items during our business hours. If you wish to access your belongings outside of regular hours, please notify us in advance to arrange access.
5.3 Storage Liability
We are not responsible for any loss or damage to stored items, unless it was caused by our negligence or failure to provide secure storage. We recommend purchasing insurance for your stored belongings for additional protection.
Mascotte Movers reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website with the updated effective date. It is your responsibility to check for updates periodically. Continued use of our Services after such changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
7.1 Governing Law
These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
7.2 Arbitration
Any disputes or claims arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration. Arbitration will take place in Mascotte, Florida, and will be conducted in English.
7.3 Class Action Waiver
You agree that any disputes will be resolved individually, and not as part of a class or representative action.
8.1 Confidentiality
All information shared by clients is kept confidential and is used solely for the purpose of completing your move. We will not share your information with third parties unless required by law or to complete services on your behalf (e.g., parking permits, insurance providers).
8.2 Privacy Policy

9.1 Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures to perform caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God, government action, strikes, or other unforeseeable events.
9.2 Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining sections will remain in full force and effect.
